Since the 1960's, Daewoo's Industrial Vehicle Division has manufactured lift trucks sold throughout the world. A three-year R&D development program, begun in 1995, resulted in the development of core technologies for engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Product quality has been validated through a variety of performance and durability tests while product reliability of major components has been achieved through Daewoo's reliability evaluation centers. Significant improvements in operator comfort and environmental friendliness have resulted in high levels of customer satisfaction with Daewoo forklifts
